About the San Diego Zoo
Owned and operated by San Diego Zoo Global, the mission of the San Diego Zoo is to unite people around the world through wildlife conservation and education. They are passionate about saving endangered species and providing care for animals. At the San Diego Zoo, visitors are welcome to explore animal exhibits, ride double-decker bus tours, and learn about animals through interactive activities around the park. The zoo’s landscape also includes a botanical collection of more than 700,000 plants and flowers throughout the campus. Multiple dining options are available throughout the park and picnic areas are located outside the Zoo’s main entrance. Re-entry is permitted for same day visits.
